I was paring down the last blades of grass of my formal garden when I heard a celestial music coming from my grandma’s gramophone. It was Vedo beat, the latest album by my favourite Italian recording artist, Francobeat. It is better than playing polo with Camilla’s panties on! We never had so much fun at the ol’ palace since Henry VIII went wild!
Charles Windsor, Prince of Wales
I just heard Francobeat’s Vedobeat and I’m consumed by envy. I need to drink. I think I’ll have some more apricot milk shakes.
Paul McCartney, MBE
Vedobeat is as dark and insidious as ice on the road. Francobeat has been hailed as one of the most corageous and impressive songwriters of today’s musical scene. He never plays safe, and I begin to think he’s practically capable of anything.
Michael Cunningham, whoever he is
I absolutely love Vedobeat. It lulls me to sleep when I’m stretching my paws in front of the fire and gives a kick to my moon-mewing evenings.
Pupo, Franco’s cat
Francobeat? Ain’t seen the guy for months. Begod, if he shows his ugly mug around here Ah’ll learn him some lesson, ah will!
Nando, One of Francobeat’s many creditors
In Vedobeat I see a magnificent, brooding imagination impressing its stamp on every note and chord. Francobeat turns the simple words of Villafranca’s peasants into a mighty poetical chant. Up yours, Thomas Gray!
William Wordsworth, poet laureate
